Crazy News: Burka Barbie, Vogue Shouting out the Plus Size Models and Ashanti's Mama Got a Stalker?!?!?!?!

Hola Crazitas!!

Happy Thursday!!! I hope you are staying warm and toasty. Us here at Crazyland have been FREEZING OUR BUNS OFF! However, we took have drank a nice cup of tea and now we are GOOD to Go!

Here is today's Crazy News....

It seem that Barbies have been trending topic as of late. When you think of Barbies, you think of Malibu Barbie, Pilot Barbie, Ugly hood rat chic calling herself Barbie on her Twitter and Facebook page (smh). However, I think the recent addition to the barbie world will be creating a brand new buzz. Meet Muslim Barbie....

According to the Los Angeles Times, The new Barbie is wearing a burka, the traditional Islamic dress with a mesh eye hole. The dolls were offered at renowned auction house Sotheby’s to raise funds for Save the Children Foundation in Florence, Italy.

The auction was part of the celebrations for Barbie as the doll celebrated her 50th anniversary.

The doll have been receiving mixed reviews from fans, as some people believe that conservative Islamic groups will have a doll that relates to their beauty and represents who they are.

Personally, I think it is great that they have a doll like this. Plus, the doll is really pretty, cover faced and all. I think that Mattel should be congratulated for their recent attempt to put out more multicultural dolls out in the market for children so they can identify with the beauty that is in their culture.

Plus, the turquoise, lime-green, orange-colored burkas are looking extra dope. (Don't front-you know you want one!)

In other news....
Move over Anoxeric 5'9 model, V Magazine is shouting out the big girls! According to New York Mag's The Cut, V Magazine is kicking off the new year dedicating the issue to plus-sized models. "Big, little, pint-size, plus-size — every body is beautiful. And this issue is out to prove it," V editor Stephen Gan said in a recent statement.

The decision comes after French Vogue was being threaten to lose some key advertisers if they do not add more "black models" into their issues. Hmmmmm, coincidence? It is nice to see that they are "incorporating all sizes" in this issue but will this be the ONLY issue they will do that? We will just have to wait and see my friends....

And Finally....

It seems a fan wants to get it in with Recording Artist Ashanti and her mama...ewwwwwwww

According to the New York Daily News, Ashanti's mom Tina Douglas testified in court that she was received X-rated vocie mails and photos from a random guy, who was later identified to be 31 Year Old Devar Hurd.

Hurd is arrested and on trail for stalking the singer and her family.

Douglas mention she first tried to ignore the "disgusting messages" on her phone and then she told him off, but the X-rated voice mails and photos kept pouring in.

For almost four years, Hurd would call Douglas saying he fantasize about having sex with the singer.

"I'm going to marry her. She's going to have my babies," Douglas said in the Manhattan Supreme Court in regards to the various voice mails he would leave to her. The singer's mom finally snap as Hurd sent her a text message containing a picture of his penis."It was insulting. It was very disrespectful."

Hurd faces up to two years in prison if convicted of aggravated harrassment.

Talk about weird! Why in the hell would you send a picture of your penis to the mother of the girl you are interested in? Eww Eww Eww. That is nasty!!!!

Excuse while I throw up my apple......

And That is your crazy news, chopped and screwed to hit you where you like it! (In my Kojak voice) Who Love's Baby????

TA-TA.....

It's V magazine that's doing a plus size issue. Not Vogue. Vogue has a story about Lara Stone who is considered "curvy" because she's a size 4 but she's not on the cover.
