Good Morning Boys and Girls!

In life, we are always taught to strive for the impossible. In college, people would stay up until the wee hours of the morning studying in order to achieve an A on a test. In our career, people will work hard in order to achieve great success. In our relationships, people work to maintain the strength of their romance in order to have a long lasting love.

In everything that we do, we put 110% into it because we know that the outcome will be great but what happens when you put your all into something and the results aren't what you want?

I consider myself to be a modified perfectionist. I always want everything to work out the way that I want it to. I give my all into everything that I do but sometimes, the results aren't that great. Why does that happen, you ask? Is it a waste of time to put your effort into things?

My answer is simple: "What we might want in our lives might not be what we need in our lives." The Universe has a funny way of placing us into certain situations that we never saw coming. Students fail an exam. People lose their jobs. Relationships break up. Friends lose contact with each other. All these situations might occur when we least expect it but in order for change and growth to occur, something drastic needs to happen. We are not "wasting our time" in life when bad things happen, it is the universe way of showing us to take a different path in our to gain want we truly deserve.

So, I challenge all of you out there in Crazy Land to never be discourage when things don't go your way. Everything happens for a reason so take the lesson that you learn from the situation, compare and contrast and move forward.

Crazy Cocktail: Cocktail Under 150 Calories!!!!!!

Hello there!

Like every woman in the world, my New Year's Resolution for 2012 is to get back into my shape and regain my abs of steel! I've cut back on fatty foods. I drink tons of water and I'm working out like a solider! However, there's one thing standing in my path to a six pack and that is...........ALCOHOL.

Ever since my college days, my love for vodka has blossomed into something grand. However, the amount of calories that are packed into a cocktail are equivalent to a Snickers bar and can hurt your wasteline tremendously.

However, after much research, I've find found a cocktail that not only is delicious but IT'S UNDER 150 CALORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *e-flips*

This modified take on a mojito taste amazing and you won't have to worry about popping out of your freakum dress. :-)

Slushy Watermelon Mojitos (Recipe Via My Recipes.com )

Ingredients
5 cups cubed seeded watermelon

1 cup sparkling water, chilled
3/4 cup white rum
1/4 cup chopped fresh mint 1 (6-ounce) can frozen limeade concentrate, undiluted
Mint springs (optional) Lime slices (optional) $

Arrange watermelon in a single layer on a baking sheet; freeze 2 hours or until completely frozen.
Combine frozen watermelon, sparkling water, rum, mint, and limeade in a blender; process until smooth.
Garnish with mint sprigs and lime slices, if desired. Serve immediately.

Hola Mis Amigos!

This morning during my daily gossip blog browsing session, I stumbled upon Nicki Minaj's new video "Stupid Hoe". In the ~~trash~~ video, Nicki was spitting about her distaste for hoes and the usual "I'm the boss" lyrics. However, what caught my attention were the hundreds of comments in response to the song.

Viewers verbally ripped the video to shred saying that the video was "degrading" and how Nicki ain't.....(you know what I mean). I find it truly hilarious to see the "haters" hate because the same people who watched the 3:30 minute video will be the same individual dropping it like its hot in the club screaming at the top of their lungs that this song is their "jam."

Have you ever noticed that it's always the ones who show the most animosity towards an individual, supports them the most all in the same breath?

Case in point: The Kardashian Family

I've read many blog entries, Facebook statuses and tweets about how they can't stand the family. However, those particular individuals will tune into E! Network to watch "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" or they will buy the latest gossip magazine to read the "explosive tell-all story" about the family. It's as if hating on celebrities is now the new form of admiring them.

To be perfectly honest, when I first listened to Nicki's new song, I thought my ears were going to bleed. However, I have no shame to admit that if I hear "Stupid Hoe" in the club and I've drank one too many vodka cranberries, I will be in the middle of the dance floor twerking it to this very same song.

The point is, it makes absolutely no sense to hate on an individual if you're going to secretly support them in the end. At the end of the day, you look like a "stupid hoe, you a you a stupid hoe".

After two years of being out of college, I've realized one major lesson: the higher you climb up the corporate ladder, the smaller your support team gets.

As you grow, you learn to deal with the side eye and judgments of former friends. You learn that as your job title changes so will the title of your relationships with friends, family and even a significant others.

As sad as that might sound, it actually isn't all that bad. In life, any successful person knows that you have to lose certain things in order to gain. That being said, it comes with the territory when friends that you use to go out with all the time now avoids you because they feel that you are "bougie". It comes with the territory when family members don't speak to you anymore because you didn't give them the $500 to pay their rent.

So, I challenge everyone to embrace their loses and focus on their growth. Everything happens for a reason so keep your head up and watch your stock rise! :-)

And for the people who are mad at you because you are growing, decidate this song to them and let them know you appreciate their time :-)

Living in NYC is the best thing that can ever happen to a 20-something year old. There's so much to do as well as the nightclubs are always fun. However, there is ONE key thing that annoys the crap out of me when I go out.

Now, I know that sometimes when you mix alcohol and great music, things might happen but I don't understand why people RANDOMLY HOOK UP with complete strangers they meant at the club. These drunk, incoherent chicks feel the need to find the best guy that looks decent through their beer goggles and randomly hook up with them and all I have to say to that is, why?

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe in c*ck blocking at all. I also believe that everyone should get a little loving from time to time but I feel that when you hook up with a random dude in the club, it's like your licking a toilet bowl. Sure, I might be exaggerating a bit but making out with a stranger is too much of a wild card.

On my quest to be the best little lady possible, I realized that though I pushing myself to be the best, I am also holding myself back. Why, you ask? All my life, I've always wanted to be the best at whatever I do.

On Saturday, I had to endure a four hour trip to go to an art gallery opening. When we had to stop for gas, I would read my timeline on Twitter to see what's going on. I noticed that everyone and their mother was tweeting about the BET Hip Hop Awards happening in the ATL this weekend.

Everyone was tweeting about who was there, who won an award, who was whack, how people didn't get up to honor Guru but got up to do the Dougie *evil side eye* and the beef that brewed between Wacka " I need to go back to school and learn how to talk" Flocka Flame and Stephen Hill.

Everyone was tweeting and revealing what was going on that I started to wonder, "What the hell is the point to watch the damn show when I already know what the hell is going to happen and what they are probably going to cut out?"

So, I poise the question: " Can Social Media Effect The Success of a business, a show or even a person?"

As much as we praise social media, can it destroy us at the same time? Think about it, many people threw criticisms at the award ceremony, do you think that people will still tune in? Or, do you think the criticism will help the network?

Crazy Wisdom: Don't Burn Bridges, It Will Actually Leave You With Scars

As you guys know, I'm on my pursuit to success. Adulthood can be a mother but I'm learning sooo much along the way. However, the biggest lesson I've learned is to NEVER EVER BURN BRIDGES!!!!

Case in point..........

A friend of mine had the opportunity to work with a great media company. He loved his job and I hated him for having the job (what? I'm going to lie). However, three months into his job, he started to have trouble with a co-worker and when I say trouble, I mean he would constantly have screaming matches with his fellow employee. Recently, the fighting reached a breaking point when he spazzed out on everyone in his office and quit on the spot.

At the time, he felt liberated to express his feelings and "put them in their place" but now he is suffering from this decision because due to his outburst, many people in his field are hesitant to work with him.

Don't get me wrong, I know I'm a hot-headed individual (hence the name, DUH!) but I'm learning that in order to make it in the business world, you can't curse people out when you want to. To be honest, there have been many times where I had to walk around a little bit just to avoid these situations. Plus, I know I'm too pretty to go to jail so I don't want to do anything to get me there :-)

Also, most of the time, the one that you probably do not like probably have the most connections known to man! It might be annoying but you have to suck it up and roll with the punches. It makes no sense to bitch and moan, just suck it up! Listen, if I can avoid a fight, you can do too!!!!!!

Not since the NBA jersey dress came in style has the fashion world been introduced to a tragic trend. Until now.

According to Parlour Magazine, Y-3 recently released the Torsion Heel for their collection with Adidas. Though Y- 3 is known for its edgy, risky take on athletic wear, this might be a tad bit much. According to the creators, the vision behind the shoes was to create a futuristic athletic shoe for the fashion forward woman, describing it as “the future right at your feet.” However, some might argue that the shoe has taken a piece of the past with this new creation. Who can forget when designer Manolo Blahnik took the ordinary Timberland boot and made them into hottest heels in town or when ladies thought it would be cool to wear their favorite Jordan’s as their high heel foot accessory but has Y-3 made the right sneaker heels?

Hello My Crazy Loves!

So, today, I think I made boo-boo. I know what you're saying, "I thought at Crazy land you don't care who you piss off" which is true but I think this time I made a boo boo.

To say that my life after college has been crazy would be an understatement; from interviews, working, networking, researching, writing, eating, sleeping and bitching, it's been a crazy world. However, I must say I am proud of myself and what I'm doing. I am an avid believer that you have towards your success rather than wait for it to come.

I am very proud of myself, so you can imagine how annoyed I am when someone tries to trample my happiness with a depressing sorry.

I know this guy. We use to work together a few summers ago and I consider the dude my homie. He's around my age range and, like every recent graduate, is depressed about the economy and finding a job. HOWEVER, every time I would mention something that I am trying to do, he always respond with,

"Well, it's easy for you, you're a woman."

Now, I know it's hard and I must admit it is challenging for men to find a job at times but every time I would mention something, he would always respond with that very thing.

However, it seems as though I reached my breaking point. I mention some great news I received and I was soooo happy. So, as anyone would do, I shared it with the social media world and sure enough I get an IM,

"I really should do a sex change or something. Lucky you."

I don't know if it was because I didn't drink any coffee or if my feet were hurting in my heels but.....I.....SNAPPED!

It was as if I was possessed by the crazy woman in me and began to reply with vengeance,

" YOU KNOW WHAT?! THE REASON WHY I AM MAKING MOVES IS BECAUSE I AM PUTTING MYSELF OUT THERE AND DOING WHAT I HAVE TO DO. YOU LAZY MOTHER FUCKERS ALWAYS FIND AN EXCUSE RATHER THAN ADMIT THAT YOU'RE NOT DOING SHIT TO BETTER THEMSELVES"

It was not until today I realize what I wrote and I feel bad :-( Though, I do feel he is a lazy mother(shut yo mouth), I think I could have presented a tad bit better....

So, I poise the question:
Should We Filter With Our Friends? Though some might be depressing, should be filter the things we say to be understanding and sympathetic?

It is a hard to for any graduate but I mean, I'm human, right???

According to the magazine, Nicola Pagination (seen on your left), a young woman from England, was found dead in her flat (which is an apartment for those who don't know) with a sex toy inside her, porn sprinkled around her and her cat on her chest. Sunday Tea: What's Next for Kelis?

All this week, the jokes were coming left and right against Kelis after what can be called the worst album sales in the history of music!

Her recent album, Fleshtone, only sold a depressing 7,833 copies in its 1st week!!! The album has become the laughing stock (or a fine coaster for some) but I wonder.....is this karma???

As we all know, Kelis and Nas went through a very nasty divorce. She took him to the cleaners and was dubbed "Gold Digger Queen" by fans after milking Nas for everything he has. That being said, is she suffering because of people's disgust? Though, we should judge the art rather than person, are people too bitter that they can't respect the album? Critics even hated the album calling it "a one tone techno mess." The album featuring the song Acapella, went to left for some. Even I, who is a true fan of Kelis didn't understand her direction nor understand why every song sounded the same.

Now, some might argue that this isn't new for Kelis. As a fan (yes, I am still a fan even though I think she has moocher tendencies) Kelis's music has never really gotten the respect it deserved in the US. Overseas, however, this girl is a LEGEND. My friends over in London think she is a god and told me she sell out theaters and stages when she performs unlike her concerts here. So, maybe she just have to give up the US market and stick to her fans overseas. I mean, many American artists gain a strong success overseas and are completely unknown in the States.

However, though her previous albums didn't get huge sales in the US, it was never THIS BAD! I mean she didn't move A UNIT!

So, I poise the question, what's next for Kelis? Can she bounce back from these sales? What went wrong? Did the PR team mess up when pushing the album out?

Though some might not like her, I do and will always be a fan, gold digging and all..

Crazy Question: What The Hell Is A Friend With Benefits?

As many people know that I am not one to shy away from speaking my mind. However, there are some concepts in this world that even I don't know what to think or say.

Now, as 20-something chica and having peers around me who are young and free, I love to see individuals love and life live. I'm an avid believer that your 20s are the years to have fun, act crazy(not Lindsay Lohan crazy but crazy) and mold your future to make your life grand. HOWEVER, there is one concept I can't get down with and that is "friends with benefit."

I have male friends who have them and I have female friends who have them and I don't get the -ish because they are always complaining about something going wrong during these transactions. For those who might now know what a "friend with benefits" is, let me give you a brief definition:

Friends with Benefits- Two friends who have a sexual relationship without being emotionally involved. Typically two good friends who have casual sex without a monogomous relationship or any kind of commitment

Though the concept of having a friend you can f*ck on the regular might sound dandy to some, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE SEX WITH SOMEONE AND NOT HAVE FEELINGS FOR THEM! I don't care what anyone says, if your having sex with your friend you are going to develop emotional feelings for that friend.

Especially for women!!! We cannot have a friend with benefits because naturally we see sex as an emotional experience we have with a person that we could potentially see a relationship with. That's why many women keep their ex-boyfriends around because though the relationship is over, you're able to still share that passion one might still have for their ex...even if it only for a couple of minutes (sometimes hours for some, just saying :-) )

Through my experience, I've seen many "friends with benefits" deals go sour and they end up regretting the decision to keep the sexual relationship when they know there's more to it.

So, I poise the question, why the hell would have a friend that you f*ck from time to time when you know that you're going to build feelings for in the long term? Or, is it possible to have a friend you bang from time to time?

As you all are aware, Young Money is arguably the undisputed rap team taking over the hip hop game. I can't hate on the team. Young Money is collecting that money, literally. With Lil Wayne as the front man, he has gathered a strong militia to take over mainstream radio.

However, being a hip hop head and a native NYer, I can't help but to get a tad bit salty when I hear some of their fans call them "original" or "the first team to ever put it down in the game." Anyone who actually understands and know a thing or two about the game knows that Young Money is NOT that original as they try to portray themselves to be.

I am not going to sugar coat it nor build up suspense about what I am going to say; I'm just going to say it:

YOUNG MONEY IS THE MODERN, MAINSTREAM VERSION OF WHAT JUNIOR M.A.F.I.A. DID IN THE '90s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There I said it!!!! It urks me that hip hop websites, hip hop bloggers, hell NEW YORKERS haven't came out to state this OBVIOUS fact. Now, I am not saying this top throw shade at Young Money as I respect their hustle, however, do not, I repeat, DO NOT believe they are original because just as how Lil' Wayne recruited a group of artists to be apart of his movement, the late, great Notorious B.I.G. did the same thing. I will even go as far as to say that Big was the first to even do that and get mainstream attention.

As weather heats up, everyone is trying to plan out that epic summer. However, when you have your student loan payments in the back of your mind and a horrible looking checking account, the last thing anyone wants to do spend tons of money on drinks, cover charges and/or dinners.

No need to fear, Crazy's here! Though I have been on this earth for only 22 years, I must say I've mastered the art of being a "frugalista." There have been times where I only had $40 bucks in my name and yet manage to have a great time with my friends and have a glorious time in the city. How, you ask? Here are a few tips for having a splendid time while keeping your pockets happy....

1) Keep an open mind and EXPLORE....

The key reason why many people end up broke during the summer is because they want to portray a certain life. It would be nice to always pop bottles or go to events, yacht parties and get the finest wine in town but if you can't afford it, DON'T GO! Instead, try to explore different alternatives that will be fun and won't hurt your wallet. For example, if you wanted to invite your girls to the hippest restaurant for brunch but can't afford it, why not have a brunch picnic. Make some of your favorite breakfast treats and go to the park with your friends to enjoy good food and a fun time with friends.Plus, nothing better than homemade mimosas!!! :-)

2) Attend FREE events.....

Being a chica from NYC, I have the joy and the opportunity to have entertainment at every corner. From free movie screening at the park to free summer days at your favorite museum, there are tons of free events to go to. Google what's going on in your town and have fun!

3) It's Okay To Be First....

I've always been made fun of by my friends about this but it is okay to be early when going a nightclub. Most clubs usually have a certain time limit where you can get in for free or at a reduced admission so if you know your ass don't have enough money to pay for admission, get there early. Nothing pisses me off more when people bitch and moan about how expensive the cover charge is when it could have easily been avoided if you got ready ON TIME. So, if you can't afford to be fashionably late, get there early!

4) Pre-Game, Pre-Game, Pre-Game!

It's no secret to anyone that I love to have a nice drink. However, when drinks are $10 a pop, it can be detrimental to your wallets. So, my suggestion is to drink at home. If it worked during college, why not do it now, right? Plus, use this time to bond with your friends and get siked about the night's festivities.

5) Don't Stress About Your Wallet!

If we all looked at our deteriorating bank accounts, the psych ward would be packed with depressed young adults. SO, STOP STRESSING! As a recent grad, it can be frustrating to know that your dream job is not waiting for you but fear not! Take this summer to reflect and have fun! Don't worry, everything will fall into place.

These might be a few steps but trust me, you can have a great summer on a budget. So, sip on your homemade mimosas and enjoy!!!! :-)

First, Happy Father's Day!!!!

Today is the day that we honor men who stepped up to the plate and provide for their families.

I have been blessed to have had a father who is always there for me and to help mold me into who I am today. However, in today's society (as I clearly saw through Twitter and the enormous amount of anger I heard today) that many people did not have the opportunity to have a father figure in their lives and felt a slight bit of anger as they had to reflect on life without a father.

It is quite sad that many fathers in today's society do not want to step up to the plate because they know that "they don't have to carry the baby for nine months." They don't realize that the after effects of this abandonment is truly astounding and can affect a child for years to come-especially a woman.

As many of us know, your father is suppose to be the first example as to what a man is and it should help us to figure out what we would want in our future spouse. For example, for me, I grew up with a father who is honest, loving and crazy; a man who always encouraged my brothers and I to be true to who we are. I am not saying I want to be with someone who is a spitting image of my father (because that is effin weird) but I know that I want to a man who treats a woman like a queen like my father treats my mother.

That is why many woman who suffered from abandonment are more likely to have relationship issues when they get older. According to a study done, we as humans tend to choose someone like Mom or Dad as a partner.

Even if we don't realize it at all, we are attracted to certain personality traits that are parents might have because it makes us feel comfortable.

That is why when women have an estranged relationship with their fathers, they tend to have a sense of anger towards the opposite sex or tend to "settle" with a guy very quickly.

Now, this post is not to come off as a negative "I hate men' post. I write this post because fathers play a key role in the growth of a child. Whether you didn't have a relationship with your father or had a close, strong bond with them, your father will always play a strong role in your life.

So, as Father's Day come to a close, I want to salute the fathers who are setting great examples for their little girls. As for those women who might not have a bond with their father, do not make this be your Achilles' heel. As the old saying goes "what don't kill you will only make you stronger," so turn the hurt into a lesson and learn to love a man that respects you rather than to settle for a man who will not leave you.

Today's eye candy came by way of my late night insomnia. Last night, I couldn't fall asleep for the life of me (I blame my neighbors who felt it was truly necessary to play Hot 97 on FULL BLAST at 3 A.M., smh)

Since I couldn't fall asleep, I decided to watch some shows on the tele and I happened to have had it on The Style network. On Style, they were playing the Diddy's "If I were King," the mini-documentary that follows Mr. Combs as he preps for his upcoming fashion show.

I was quite interested and inspired by Diddy's grind and strength in the business world, but it was his Creative Director that really caught my attention, not because of his great creative vision (which is dope!) but because this dude is FIONEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOT DAMN!!!!!!

I would like to introduce to you all, Mr. Dao Yi Chow.

After being intrigued by the sexiness of this man, I decided to do some investigation to find out about the dude and his resume is just as impeccable as his good looks!

He was a former freelance journalist for The Source, Vibe Magazine and Ego Trip. A fashion guru, the fashion stylist co-founded the clothing line, Public School. Also, did I forget to mention that homie was a model! He is also very charming and very honest-my kind of guy. Here's a quote from him about his thought on branding....

Crazy Fit: How To Train Like World Cup Star

Good Day My Crazy Loves!!!

As you know, Summer is here and everyone is trying to get that perfect body. For today's crazy fit, we turn to the soccer field to learn some secrets as to what keeps these players at the peak of their game.

Now, women tend to stay away from weight training because they don't want to "bulk up" or ::in my best ditzy girl voice:: don't want to like bulk up like a guy because like that's like so totally like eww!! (Just typing that statement annoyed me.) In actuality, ladies, weight training is the BEST thing a woman can do. Muscles burn more calories even when you are resting. Studies also show that if you incorporate weight training into your workout, you are less likely to lose bone mass as you grow older lowering the risk of osteoporosis. Also, ladies, bat wing arms are NOT cute (contrary to what Wendy Williams might show you) so it is important to have a great balance of cardio and weight training is important. So train like the soccer pros with these training moves:

Goaltender Shuffle

1. Crouch down and bend forward slightly with your feet about shoulder-width apart move one foot underneath your body until it is nearly touching the other.

2. Move the outside foot away from the other foot in the same direction. Repeat slowly at first, then build up speed.

3. Continue this for during a 10-minute interval workout consisting of one minute of lateral shuffles and one minute of jumping jacks

The Defender Quick Feet

1. For ten seconds, sprint in place

2. After a five second break, jump rope for 20 seconds. Make sure you move your feet while jumping as it will help with your agility and speed.

Midfielders Sprints

1. Fast-jog for three minutes. You can do this at your local park or even around your neighborhood, NO EXCUSE!!!!! The walk for one minute. After one minute, repeat the fast jog agin but this time cut it down to two minutes and then one minute. Continue these ladder sprints and it will definitely improve your cardio fitness while increasing your calorie burn in a short amount of time.

Forward Weight Training

1. Try doing a mixture of free weights and non-free weights with your strength training regimen. Push-ups and assisted pull-ups are great exercises to use your body weight as the weight-lifting tool.

2. When using free weights, make sure you use a good size weights that you know you will feel stress on the muscle. DO NOT CHEAT. Women tend to go for the 3 pounds weights and this is WRONG. Try to use at least a five pound weights when working on your biceps, triceps, and shoulders. As you become use to a certain weight level, always increase the size but do not overexert yourself. Know your limits.

Crazy Cocktails: Watermelon Vodka Slush

Hello my loves!

How unnu do?!

It's Summer time so everyone is trying to find the best recipe for that Summer cocktail. So, why not add in a summer fruit classic into your favorite drink, WATERMELON!!!!!!

This Watermelon Vodka Slush will be the hit drink at any functions and all my dudes who don't want too look "fruity" with this drink, don't worry, this drink will get your boys tipsy so fast that they might confuse the drink with Nuvo, so you'll be fine :-)

Enjoy!!!!

Ingredients

4 cups watermelon flesh, seeds removed
2 fluid ounces simple syrup( you can get this at any grocery store)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup vodka (I love this with Ciroc Original or Ciroc Berry but any vodka can work with the mix)
2 fluid ounces melon liqueur(You can use any margarita/daquiri mix if you can't find the melon liqueur)
4 twists lemon zest, garnish

Directions:

In a food processor, puree the watermelon flesh. Pour the pureed watermelon into empty ice cube trays and freeze for at least 4 hours. Also, freeze 4 martini glasses. If serving for more people, freeze more
In a blender combine the frozen watermelon cubes, simple syrup, lemon juice, vodka, and melon liqueur; blend until smooth. Pour into 4 frozen martini glasses and garnish each with a lemon twist.

Trust me, this drink will be a hit at any party!!! Enjoy!!!!!!

Today, I took a wonderful personal day to sit down and reflect on life, my goals and what bottle of wine I should crack (that could be a daunting task!).

As I am watching Carrie and the girls tackle the mean streets of NYC, I begin to think about my life and what I am going through (I tend to do that) and I wonder why my "NY" doesn't look like that? Lord knows if I could run around NYC, go to all the fabulous events in my Jimmy's and Loubitons and have amazing sex at any point of the day, life would be grand without a care in the world.

As a young NY chica, the life of Carrie Bradshaw is what many would want but only few ( if not no one) can live in that fantasy. So, I propose a fabulous comprise. As the old saying goes, "life is what you make it," right?

Therefore, why can't I not take a few ideas from this young lady's world and make it fit into my recent college grad, broke as a church mouse,job hunting, PMS, dealing with my insecurities world. Therefore, for the Summer I will showcase a series known as "Sex and The Trails Of The Recent Grad". During this summer, I will go on a quest to find happiness and satisfaction in all parts of my life and share it with you all.

I will hit up some of NY's fabulous events, explore the daily life of some everyday women and bring to you how you too can achieve your "Carrie Bradshaw" life in the comforts of your own city.

So come take a journey with me this summer.

It's been crazy here at Crazyland but if our lives are not hectic and crazy, then my friends, we are dead. Just saying.

For today's Crazy Music, I would like to introduce to who I think will be the next big singer to hit the R&B scene. Now, I know what you're thinking, "Awwwww, here we go!!! Another blogger saying someone is hot when they are far from it." However, trust me when I say that this young lady definitely has the talent and the creds to take her career to the next level. Plus, growing up in the concrete jungle, you always see people say they want to make it in the game but shorty definitely puts her money where her mouth is!!!

Young world, I would like to introduce you to the artist the goes by the name Cheeki or CheekiTheSinger or Cheekipowpow (you see!!!! She's already channeling her inner mogul status with the name changes. GO 'HEAD GIRL!!!). Although she can be considered a rookie when it comes to "the business," she's been grinding her way to get into the industry her whole life,singing and writing her own songs while still learning how to gain longevity in the game. This is rare look for those who follow the entertainment/music world because everyone wants to start out at the top but never want to work their way up there.

CheekiPowPow’s long-awaited first project has been recently released and has already been getting buzz via Twitter and Facebook. “Hear Me Roar” has been available for free download via various media outlets, particularly: Reverbnation, and Datpiff.com . This album is the perfect marriage of mixtape, she-mixes and original songs, which is why Cheeki often refers to it as her Malbum (mixtape/album) This started with her re-mix of Kid Cudi’s Day N Night which has accumulated approximately 30,000 listens/views via youtube. Cheeki is independently releasing “Hear Me Roar” with the help of producer Skyz Muzik and popular up and coming rapper GreggSelf . Producer/graphic designer Prophecy, is also responsible for producing some of Cheeki’s best records. Last night, I had the opportunity to go to this year's Hot 97 Summer Jam in NJ (more info in Mean Muggin' Mondays post).

While I had my personal favorites that I wanted to see, it was today's eye candy who literally got me out my seat and dancing during his whole entire set.

This isn't surprising to me because it seems that every song this man has put out in his 10 year career always get any good party started.

The man I'm talking about is no other than Mr. ATL himself, Ludacris.

Ludacris is one of the top Southern rappers in the game and is one of the most creative artist to ever step foot at the mic.

Not only is homie a dope rapper, he is a good businessman and humanitarian. This man is always willing to give back to his community not just for the glamour but rather for the greater good of his community.

Plus, I think that anyone who was at Summer Jam yesterday can testify that homie knows how to put on a show!

So, kudos to you, Luda!

And thank you for putting out my anthem, "My Chick Bad". It is because of you I catch myself booty poppin' so early in the morning :-)

Everyone and their mama flocks down to the Sunshine state to enjoy a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. People save up their pennies in the winter to fly down to South Beach to have fun in the sun. However, for me, personally, I don't want to go to Miami during Memorial Day because...well...to be quite frank....it a HOT, GHETTO ASS, ROLLS SHOWING, SLOPPY MESS!!!!!!! I'm sorry but I consider Memorial Day weekend in Miami to be "hood appreciation" weekend because it seems the ghetto-est(I made that word up), sloppiest chicks and dudes flock down there and act a DAMN fool.

Why hello there my pretties!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend. Now, I must admit something: I was not really diggin' today's eye candy when I first heard of him. A friend of mine introduced me to the rapper and I wasn't sure if I would be a fan of his. However, after hearing his DOPE-TASTIC freestyle on Funk Master Flex, he has definitely made me a fan.

The rapper I'm talking about is J.Cole. The North Carolina raised 25-year old was born in Germany (European, sweet!). The dude definitely has talent as well as brains(COME ON, PEOPLE!!! Too early to think so flithy!!!!!!)

Mr.Cole graduated from St.John's University magna cum laude which is rather impressive. The rapper is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation so I will definitely be on the look out for what's to come with this dude. Plus, he's easy on the eyes :-)

Today, I've come to the conclusion that I think some might not understand or even comprehend. In a world where being a barbie is key, I've come to the conclusion....I don't want to be referred to as a "dime piece."

Ladies put in major hours in the gym, keep up to date with the latest fashion trends and go to extremes (i.e. Chicken steroids in the ass, etc.) just to have the ability to say that they are a dime. Don't get me wrong, I know I look good (not to toot my own horn but HONK HONK!) but I don't see the big obsession with being a dime piece now-a-days. As we all know, beauty has evolved over the years but I don't understand when my beauty is equivalent to a small silver coin? Hell, we couldn't be the half dollar!!! I like the half dollar coin!!!!

I know what some are saying: "You're probably mad that you not a dime yourself" or " You're just a ugly hater," blah blah blah. I respect everyone's opinion as you all know we here in Crazy land respects everyone's view point but what I'm saying is I am okay with who I am and my status on the hot-o-meter. I've never been the girly girl type and I slowly grew into my cute stage. Therefore, why should I put pressure on myself to look like a video vixen?

What I like to consider myself to be is "pretty/adorable" (for those who might be wondering, that would be a solid 8 on the hot-o-meter). I like to be considered "pretty" because I feel that there is something genuine with that term. To be referred to as "sexy" is cool, don't get me wrong ( I have my moments) but that term is usually used because the guy is thinking about the girl doing that cool Karma Sutra move he saw on the porno Booty Hunt Part 4.

To be referred to as "pretty" or "cute" or even "sweet" has a genuine, loving meaning behind it. It means to me that the guy sees me as a woman who has a chance to warm his heart. I know that sounds sappy but even the toughest women on the planet wants to have that moment where they're adore by a man.

I am not knocking girls who consider themselves to be a dime, different strokes for different folks. What I'm saying is that I'm okay being the "cute" girl. I would rather warm your heart than to only be considered as a one-night banger because I know that you care about me if I touch your heart but I don't know if your hard "stick" is going to be a night of bliss for me....so I'll take your love for 500 :-)

Hey Young World!!!!

After many tweets, emails, FB messages and even texts..THE EYE CANDY POSTS ARE BACK! I took a break from doing the eye candy posts because I felt as though there was a drought going in the "Sexy Men" department. However, Summer is coming and men are baring those six-packs again so all is right in the world :-)

In today's music scene, there's seem to be a shift going on. Back in the day, when Sports Team Jersey Dresses were poppin' and neck chokers were the shizzle, the rap scene was all about the streets. If your music wasn't poppin' in the streets, you wouldn't be considered "fly". I remember being in the 5th grade and hearing older girls in my family talk about how they were obsessed with Trench from Naught by Nature because :in bird dialect: "he a rough neck and I like 'dat."

However, many things have changed. Rather than building up your street cred, many rappers are trying to build up the college credibility. The rise of the "smart rapper" is heating up and I love it like I love life!!! Gone are the days were rapper talk about a "Gangsta Bitch". Now, rappers today are focusing on bagging the college girl.

The Brooklyn native's new wave/ hip hop vibe has been a favorite of mine ever since I was introduce to the rapper last winter. The way he mixes what would be two extreme music genres is quite impressive. Plus, homie is a snazzy dresser. Snaps to him!

Mickey Factz

The BX native and "Alpha" man has been in the game for a minute now. I was introduced to him when I went a Cool Kids concert and I been diggin' his music since. Though he does remind me of my husband in my head, Lupe Fiasco, his flow and skills puts him in a league of his own.

Many people might not know who he is but this dude is the truth! He wrote for some of your favorite rappers and is signed to the Young Money camp. Hopefully, we will get a full album from old dude because his mixtapes are crazy.

Now, many have been introduced to the LA rapper by his Young Money association but I liked this dude even when he put out his first album(yes, he put an album out). The dude's flow is unlike what I expect a LA rap vibe should be. He's quite ill and I think he has potential to doing big things in the game. Kudos!!!

These are just a few people that I heating up college radio that I dig. I am happy that hip-hop is taking this turn. Now, all we need is to stop with the damn ice nonsense and we will be good to go!

It's been crazy these past couple of weeks for me but I enjoy my crazy world. Life is pretty sweet for your girl but no need to freight, CrazyPrettyLady is here to stay......

The other day, I got into a heated debate that I would like to share with you. As a girl who likes to party all the time ::cue annoying '80s song::, I love to dance. If there's music involved, you best believe that I will be on the dance jamming!!!! I'm not going to toot my own horn but I got skills. I hanged up my Dancehall queen title but from time to time I dust it off and bust a whine. That being said, when I go to the club, I don't mind dancing with a guy and having a good time. There's nothing better to dance with a guy AND HE HAS RHYTHM! However, fast forward to the end of the night, the dude you were dancing with automatically expects you to a)give out your number b)end up at his house or c)go to the nearest motels and do......"things".

It's as if you can't have a platonic, fun time with a guy without having to wonder if he thinks you want the wild card that is in his pants. (I call it the wild card because YOU NEVER KNOW!!! He might say he has a cucumber but he actually rocking a string bean. Just saying :-) ) It's as if it is not okay for the opposite sex to be friends with one another.

Is it possible that a man can't be friendly to a woman without having any intentions? As you know, men are not the only one who are guilty of expecting the goodies upon meeting someone. When men are nice to a woman, some chicks will automatically fall in love and will plan her wedding with the dude!

So, I poise the question: Can a platonic relationship occur between the opposite sex? I mean can I dance with a guy and not have to give him my number? Can a guy just be cool with a girl and not have to worry about her drawing hearts around his name on her notebook?

So, I was perusing over at NecoleBitchie.com when I stumbled upon the craziness that is Kelis. Now, I am not going to lie, I dig Kelis as a musician. She has been riding that crazy train even before we ever heard of Gaga and I truly respect her for being true to her art. HOWEVER, I am having a hard time to respect this chick as a woman. She is tip toeing on the line of gold digger for me because she is milking her ex-husband Nas for everything he has and that's just not cool but we shall save that issue for another post. Yesterday, I poised a question on twitter that seemed to spark a revolution and seemed to get me into trouble, lol. I asked the following:

"If you can change one thing about the opposite sex, what would it be and why?"

I asked this question because, let's face it, if we could play God for a day we would probably change that annoying habit that the opposite sex have.

As I am an avid believer in people accepting others for who they are, there is always that ONE trait that could use a little tweaking.

For me, if I could change one thing about a man, I think I would change their misconception of the working woman. I hate when a man seeing a strong woman, they automatically assume that she is a "bitch" or "she can't get a man" and blah blah. Listen, if you want to talk real talk here, I think that some women(because you know that there are some women who are lazy b*tches) are grinders, movers and shakers. I think that stereotype needs to just DIE!

Mean Muggin' Mondays: Does Your GPA Really Show Your Growth?

Good Evening My Loves!

As my graduation approaches, I've been having my "time of clarity' and starting to grasp the thought that on May 16th I will be a College graduate, walking across the stage of Madison Square Garden to receive my Bachelors in Mass Communications. ( I felt chills just writing that statement.)

However, today, I asked myself a question that I feel every college graduate should ask themselves as they prepare to take on the "real world."

Does Your GPA Really Show Your Growth?

Some of you would probably interpret my question as me bashing college or "hating" on the 4.0 students. That's not the case at all.

As soon as we begin our college career, we're told to focus on keeping your grades up and "Getting those A's." We study for tests, read tons of chapters in textbooks and write numerous amount of papers just to make sure that we get that high score. However, have you ever wondered how those tests will affect your growth? Or how writing that paper about European History will help you find a job?

I poise this question because I feel that college students don't take the time to grow as a person during their four years.

College is a time when you're transitioning from "adolescent mode" and learn how to handle this thing called life. College is the time to build relationships, deal with heartache and learn from all the experiences you will face.

For me, as I look back at my time at Iona College, I can truly say I have grown up from that insecure 18 year old girl to who I am today. For a small school, I've learn how to handle myself through any trails and tribulations; I've shed many tears, lost many friends and even question if I will make it. However, today, as I count down the days to May16th, I can honestly say....I've made it. This is what college should be. I cannot put into words how proud I am of myself to know that I have changed for the better. Granted, my education is the best treasure I can ever have but to know I am a better person, a better daughter, a better sister, a better friend; that is best gift college can ever give to me.

I know that many of us today probably wondering "Why do we have to go through BS to be great?" To answer your question, I will share with you a saying my parents instilled in me ever since I can remember;

"If you don't go through your tests, you'll never appreciate your testimony."

College is suppose to challenge you, not just academically but emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally. It will be difficult now but like me and many 2010 graduates, you will appreciate it.

So, as I close this post, I would like you all to take the time to stop looking at your GPA and stop wondering about that final paper due on Wednesday (@6:30pm for me) and really ask yourself, "What has College really taught you about yourself?"

Trust me, the results will be truly rewarding.

Crazy Random: Diary of a Big Booty Woman

Summer is making its appearance in NYC and I couldn't be more happier. As a girl from a warm island, summer is the best time of the season. I'm in shape, I can break out my summer clothes and the parties in NYC are always poppin'!

However, there one part of the Summer that I have a love/ hate relationship with; a part of summer that I love and yet dread at the same time.

That part is shorts season. This is that time of year were we put up our sweats and strap on those booty huggers to embrace the sunshine.

However, for me I always have a certain hesitation when it putting on a pair of shorts. Don't get me wrong, I love my athletic legs but my thing is.....well.....my butt is a weird dude magnet.

I know I'm not the only chica who have dealt with the whistles, the hollers, the" ayo ma, lemme talk to you right quick." I love shorts but sometimes I don't want to attract any attention but I just can't seem dodge it! I can wear a maxi dress and STILL I attract the weirdos.

Am I the only one who suffers this? Crazyettes sound off! Do you sometimes feel your summer look attracts the wrong attention??????

Monday Eye Candy: 'I Feed The Streets'

Happy Monday!

It's been truly emotional here at Crazyland but no need to fear, I have everything under control so now to your regularly scheduled program.

For today's eye candy, I'll like to salute the men that are not "mainstream". Now, I could go on for days talking about how some of your favorite artists have sold their soul to the record labels but this particular artist not only has the #1 song out right now but his new album, released last week, is FIYAH.

The artist I'm talking about is none other than B.o.B.

Before his hit song, "Nothing On You" was killing the radio waves, I was introduced to the rapper by my friend who goes to Clark Atlanta University. She knew my obsession with Lupe and said I should check him out. After listening to a couple mixtapes and studying his work through Youtube videos, I'm glad to see homie getting what he deserves.

B.o.B is also rather easy on the eyes. He is not "tongue wagging" hot but homie is delish in his own way.

Plus, his swagger reminds me of Lupe so that is always a bonus in my book.
So congratulation Mr. Ray, sir. You've made it onto the eye candy list. Now, all you need to do is admit you ride a skateboard and know what Barnes & Nobles is and you will win in my book. Listen, I've met dudes who don't read and as a writer of a blog, that's an EFFIN insult!

On his show, Jones learns how to play international sports that are unknown to us here in America (interesting concept). Not only is he open to trying new things, he is educated as he is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He loves to read as he admitted in a recent interview and he is a writer, writing columns for ESPN and ESPN2. Plus, he loves children.

Most importantly, isn't he adorable! I mean, I want to pinch his cheeks that's how adorable he is!

Why hello there!

I must say, today going good for the chica. I lost two pounds(yeaaaaaa buddy!), got free lunch from my office(which means extra money in my pocket) and I am getting $4 margaritas afterwork so I can say today was a good day

Anyway, lately I noticed in the blogger world that people are catching an attitude with Shaquille O'Neal's soon-to-be ex-wife Shaunie O’Neal(I wonder if she going to keep her last name. I mean O'Neal is where the money is???) Shaunie, the executive producer of the new hit Vh1 reality show "Basketball Wives", has been dating this ~~little boy~~ young man by the name of Marlon Yates.

The man is my age, 22 years young and he is a model. The LA native has had his run-in with reality television. He was a finalist on Oxygen's Janice Dickinson's Model Agency and has been in a couple of music videos. Now, a lot of women are complaining about this relationship because many feel as though Shaunie should "wait until her divorce is final."

My thoughts: F@&K THAT, HOMEBOY IS FIOONNNNEEE!!! GO SHAUNIE GO!!!!!

I don't care how young the boy is for her, he is too delicious to wait until the divorce is settled. I give him two thumbs up!

Buenos Dias Mi Crazitas!!! Como estas?

This morning, I managed to have an interesting conversation with my train buddy you happens to be my neighbor.

As we're chatting, she ask me who is going to be today's eye candy?( She follows my blog and looks forward to the eye candy post, like many horny women I know lol) I told her I will be doing one today and then she ask out of no where, "Do you believe in morning sex?"

*Pause for reaction*

After five seconds of making the question register to me, I asked her why she's asking me this. I mean, it isn't normal to have this convo with my neighbor. Hell, home girl knows my mom! I asked her if she believed in it(to reverse the question off of me) and she said no.

*side-eye*

She says that's in the morning she is too "tired" and doesn't have the energy for it. Plus, she believes in the whole Lifetime Channel, love making nonsense.

Personally, not to put my business out there, I don't see the problem. I mean I do my ten minutes of cardio in the mornings so I know I would be game for a little "extra" with my coffee.

Tuesday Grooves: RIP Guru

This morning, when I heard the news that rap legend Guru passed away, I thought it was just another cruel joke as their was a false report made about his death before. However, when I found out it was true, I couldn't believe it. For those who might not know, Guru was and will always will be one of the best MCs to ever step foot onto the hip hop game.

A little bit about Guru, Guru rose to fame in the late 1980s as part of the duo Gang Starr with partner DJ Premier. The pair helped define the New York underground rap. Guru found solo fame in 1993 when he released the first volume of his Jazzmatazz Series, an all-star project that featured a number of collaborations with jazz icons such as Branford Marsalis, Donald Byrd, Roy Ayers and Ronny Jordan, as well as vocals from Solaar and N'Dea Davenport of the Brand New Heavies. The album's mixture of jazz and rap was considered pioneering at the time, and the record spawned the hit "Trust Me." Guru would go on to make four volumes in the series.*

Guru will and always be one of the best to ever step into the game. I pray that as we celebrate the life of this legend, we remember what he has done for New York rap. The sound and the vibe that his music has created was genuine and real, something that one can say is missing in the rap world today. I pray that future MCs study what this man has done and carry on his legacy.

We will miss you Guru. Your music will live on....forever.

Hello My Crazy Loves!

Happy 4/20!

As a non-smoker, I don't condone smoking in any way. HOWEVER, I am not afraid to admit that I do like the smell at times and I know that I am not the only one who has been to a party and just enjoy the smell from time to time. :-)

So for today's eye candy, I picked this legend not only because he was a huge stoner and proud to admit it but he made a difference through his songs and message; high and all. The man that I am talking about is Jamaican icon Mr. Bob Marley.

Bob Marley was and always is a hero figure in the classic mythological sense. Mr. Marley, a strong belief in the Rastafarian beliefs, to this day impacted the world and his music still puts me in the right sense of the mind.

Granted he had the Jamaican Man syndrome (which is can't keep his d*ck in his pants and have many women around the world) but his message will live on. So on 4/20, smoke away and groove to the vibes that is Bob Marley.

What's really good Crazyettes!

I am not going to lie; YOUR GIRL IS IN A FABULOUS MOOD! I truly have to commend myself on my strive and determination. To some, this would make me "cocky" or "full of myself" but I realized that if you aren't your biggest cheerleader than who will be?

Today, I had the hugest interview that I must say is the biggest one of my career so far. Anyone who knows me know that it has always been my dream to work in Sports Media. Therefore, when I received the call from_____, I was literally jumped around my house like a mad woman. As I entered the lobby, I felt confident and kept telling myself that "I got this!" I knew what I was capable of. As the receptionist led me into the conference room (who FYI was rocking shoes from Christian Siriano collection from Payless. Werk!) almost close to 25 applicants was there. *Heart drops*

Applicants from all over were there for the first round of interviews; people from England to France and California to Florida were there. I wanted to shit bricks but I held my composure and sat down waiting for the interview to begin.

As the small talk became underway, everyone begin to ask what school was everyone from. "Columbia University" "NYU" "University of Southern California" were just some of the school that were said. Then it came to me, " Iona College." After I said that, a girl from NYU (who by the way needs to learn how to put her clothes together; wearing a purple shirt and green accessories, hm) responded " Oh.......okay."

*Pause for reaction*

Now, you might have read that response as something that is normal but it was her tone that peeved me off. Her tone scream "Oh, this girl doesn't have a chance; she's from a small school." I noticed also that other applicants in the room felt the same way because Iona is small and their school is PRESTIGE , blah, blah, blah.

To some, this might break their confidence. However, this is CrazyPrettyLady and I LIVE FOR BEING THE UNDERDOG! All my life, things hasn't come easy for me and I am always placed in the category where I am the underdog. I am not rich nor have I always been the popular girl but I'm a natural fighter and I always get what I want.

So, as soon as Ms. NYU made her remark, I immediately went into "Bitch, I got this so pack up ya shit because your not getting this" mode . The interview started and my charm was in full swing. Some of the applicants were surprised at my credientals and confidence. I know that they never expected me to achieve the things I have achieved. They wrote me off as "no competition" and I love that!

After the interview, I was approach by the Marketing Associate and she admired my confidence( as well as my fro. I swear, I think this fro thing is going to be my signature. I've gotten so much love with my fro than when I wore a weave,lol.)

I'm not knocking folks who go to big schools, not at all. However, what I will say is that no matter where you are from or what you do, it is your hunger and your self-confidence that will get you were you need to be. I could have gotten frighten by their comments but I believed in myself and my capability and now I feel like I nabbed a second interview.

So for today's Tuesday Grooves, let's celebrate the Underdog with this joint! And remember, The best role model you can have in the world is yourself so be your biggest motivator.

Hola Mi amigos!

I have a huge Business Statistics exam (School Sucks Major Balls, FYI) so my whole entire weekend has been filled with Standardized Normal Distribution, Basic Probability and other BS I am probably going to forget by the end of this term.

Due to my non-stop study session, I had to take a break from Crazyland (Sorry but mama needs to get that A) and I have to miss an eye candy recipient in concert TWICE this weekend.

The eye candy I speak of is none other than Lupe Fiasco. Granted I have seen this man about 5 times but every time I go to his concerts, he never seem to disappoint. Plus, from what I've seen, homie has been in the gym. YESSS HONEY YESSSSSS!!!!!!

The San Francisco-based clothing label Adapt dropped their spring/summer lookbook for 2010. I must say I'm impressed with the style and quality of the shirts. It excudes the style of some designers I know. It is very "trendy, urban New York." I dig the style and I wouldn't mind seeing my dude rock a T-Shirt from the brand. Mean Muggin' Mondays: If Love Was A Blow-Up Doll...

Hello Darlings!

I had a FABULOUS Mean Muggin' Mondays post but Blogger decide to refresh itself and erase my post. FANTASTIC! Well, no need to cry over spilled milk. The show must go on!!!!

So for today's night cap(You like how I changed it up) I wanted to share with you my feelings on love. Now, now I'm not going to preach nor tell you how to find it; I just want to talk about....love; how beautiful it is, how nerve-racking it can be and how much I love it! However, take a moment to analyze this quote:

"I wish love was a blow-up doll. I can have it when I want then deflate it when I'm tired of it."

*Pause for Reaction*

When I first read this, I immediately busted out laughing because I randomly pictured a dorky nerd bringing his Blow-up doll with him to his prom.( Don't ask me why it came to my mind and don't judge me! lol) After I tamed myself, I decided to take a deeper look into that statement: What if love was a blow up doll? I mean you will have it when you want it; it won't complain nor would get tired during "activities."

Many times I read people's tweets or their Facebook statuses where they go on and on about how they wish they had control over their significant other to get their way. I know I am not the only one who has overheard a girl ranting about how " she want's this *expletive* to do what I *expletive* I want to do" or you hear guys say "This *expletive* should just shut up and just *expletive* my dick." (What?! I censored most of the bad words, saying dick won't kill you!) Therefore, many people would agree that they wouldn't mind if their lover can turn into a quiet, no-back talk blow-up doll. However, I poise the question, would you be able to last with this arrangement? Think about it. If your significant other was a "blow-up doll" meaning they never give you headaches and satisfy your every need, would you enjoy it forever?

I mean, to be real, I think that's torture! I mean, granted I believe the male species is the most annoying creature on the planet from time to time but I love them, headaches and all. I would rather have a guy that would challenge me than a push-over dude. Hell, I love the arguments! I sometimes use to start sh*t with my significant other to get some. I am a grown woman and I will admit it.

HI, MY NAME IS CRAZY PRETTY LADY AND I START ARGUMENTS WITH MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER TO ENSURE 8-HOUR OF MAKE-UP BLISS!!! :-p

I think that is what make relationship great! There isn't a perfect human being on this planet. So, why would you yearn for one? "For better and for worse", many people seem to forget this line when they enter a relationship. I am not saying that being argumentative is healthy because IT'S NOT but a little debate from time to time makes things fun. Therefore, if you want a "blow-up doll" go buy one, don't expect a human to be one.

What do you think? Do you wish love was a blow-up doll?

I don't know if I'd like the idea of that so I will deal with my hard-headed, stubborn, sarcastic bloak anyday :-)

Happy Monday My Crazy Loves!

Today, I had the opportunity to work at home so I been enjoying the sunshine wearing my favorite Mickey Mouse PJs (Don't sleep on my PJ game. I'm sick with it!) Anyway, I was sending out my emails and catching up on my reading when I stumbled upon the original "reality" shows; the shows that many housewives of America enjoy while they are taking care of the home. These shows are Soap Operas. Yes, I sat here all day today and watched "As The World Turns" and "The Bold & The Beautiful" and wonder what happen to the Soap Opera hunks.

I remember back in the day, I use to be OBSESSED with Shemar Moore's character when he was on The Young and The Restless.

YESSSS HONEY!!!!

However, what is the future of Soap Operas? Will there ever be "the wedding of the century" as big as Luke and Laura's from General Hospital.

As "Reality" TV rises, will there ever be another Sonny Corthinos that will capture our hearts right before we watch Oprah?

*Sigh* I guess we will never know. In the meantime, I'll just have fun admiring from afar (or when I peep SoapNet.)

An acquaintance hit me up to ask me about how am I doing in regards to college/work/life/etc. I told him I am doing good and how everything in my wonderful yet crazy life. I explained that I have my challenges but I am still grinding my way to the top. "Man but it's hard out here for a n*gga," he responded. "N*ggas gotta work to make it out here in these streets, ya dig." (Sorry for the ebonics, I am just telling you what he told me, ya dig!) As I was reading his response, I asked " I know it's hard but have you been looking for a job?" "No," he said." Well, did you finish up at school?" (Side note: I met the guy when I was in high school. I swear I had beer google in high school because HE IS SURELY A DUMBASS!) "Nah man, I really to get this music shit poppin'."

*WALK AWAY FROM MY COMPUTER AND BUSTED OUT LAUGHING!* After composing myself and I replied "So, have you been promoting yourself?"

After giving me a laundry list of excuses , I replied "So, you want this shit for free, then?" I guess that ruffled his feathers because I am still waiting for his reply. This is something that bugs me and I know I am not the only one who feels this way.

I wonder if my people are stuck in the mentality where we expect to get that quick fix of fame, satisfaction yet don't want it come to work for it and expect to get the same fix but not hustle for it. It gets on my nerves when I see people "blame it on the man" for their road block from success because it is not only just that; it is the lack of ambitious and hunger many people lack.

When will our generation learn? Just because you sing in the shower doesn't mean you're going to be sing on stage at Madison Square Garden; hell, I know that just because I write on a blog doesn't mean that I am going to be a NY Times Best Seller overnight! However, if I work at it, I will get there!

So I pose the question: Does our generation lack the "grinding" mentality? If so, what needs to be done to be it back?

What's going on Crazyettes!

Now, I have received tons of tweets, texts and facebook messages asking me if I have heard of ~~the walking herpes~~ Kat Stacks. I've also been asked why I haven't "Mean Mugged" the chick for her tomfoolery and not through in my two cents.

Welp folks, this reason why CPL haven't covered her is because we know that is what she wants. This situation is classic Dirty PR 101:

Plus, when I saw her first video earlier this week, I felt as if my IQ level was slowly deterioating.
